Advisory: Use of Study Abroad Brokers

There are many advantages to doing the study abroad process on your own: it is economical, it gives you the ability to make your own decisions, and it helps you improve your language skills.

Warning Signs

If you are busy or concerned about your language skills, using a study abroad broker is an option. However, please choose carefully as some companies charge excessive fees or provide false information.

Points When Choosing a Study Abroad Broker

1. Fees

Are the service charges reasonable and transparent? Always compare the prices of multiple brokers before signing a contract.

2. Support Quality
  • Will they recommend schools that meet your study goals?
  • Do they recommend entering Japan using forged documents? (Avoid immediately!)
  • Do they provide satisfactory answers to questions and process updates?
  • Do they try to unilaterally rush the application?
  • Do they explain both the benefits and the hardships of studying abroad?
3. Track Record

Do they have a verified, successful track record of sending students to Japan? Ask for reviews and verify their official credentials.
